Year: 287 in the Era of the New Commonwealth (ENC)

The planet, Beta-Sigma-4 (BeSig 4), sits in a remote corner of the galaxy. What resources the system had are long since mined and the worlds abandoned by traders and the like.

Left to its own, it soon established a rogue state, attacking other ships, like pirates of old Earth...

Seeking to find a niche for this system, the Commonwealth suggested a new prison network be set aside...To pay for it, prisoners were observed as they were set loose.
