The stinky roommates

With a rumble, your taxi speeds off into the darkness. You wave goodbye, then turn to look at the building you have arrived at.
It is a tall, brick, multi-story building, and it is where you will be living for the next year. Checking your watch, you see that it is already half past seven. Your taxi journey was three hours long.
With a sigh, you lift your heavy suitcase off the asphalt of the car-park, and drop it onto the pavement. The front entrance to the building is only a few meters away, so you pull open the door and step into the foyer.

Inside the building, it is a lot warmer than outside. Yellow lights illuminate the small foyer, giving the place a sense of comfort. Fumbling around in your pocket, you pull out a scrap of paper.
On the paper is written: Dorm 213. Holding the scrap of paper, you look around the foyer, and spot a large noticeboard mounted on the right hand wall. Walking up to it, you see that your college dorm is on the second floor of the building and at the end of the hall.
You smile. It is difficult to believe that you're finally at college.

Turning away from the sign, you press the upwards arrow on one of the elevators on the left hand wall, and the doors open immediately.
You step inside, and select the second floor. It would be far too much of a hassle to drag your heavy suitcase and duffel bag all the way up two flights of steps, especially in your state of fatigue.

The elevator doors open at the second floor and you step out into the hall. You can hear the muffled sounds of students chatting and laughing behind the closed doors of their dorm rooms, and you begin to feel at home immediately.
You walk down the corridor, and spot dorm 213. "This is it!" you whisper under your breath.

With a slight rush of excitement, you raise your hand and knock twice on the white surface of the door. Hopefully you don't get stuck with a weird nerd or some kind of maniac.
It isn't long before you hear somebody's footsteps approaching the door from the other side. You hurriedly straighten out your hair. It is slightly mussed up from the long taxi drive.

The handle turns, and the door swings wide open. Looking up, you stare in confusion at the person on the other side.

Standing in the doorway is a tall, slim, blonde girl with curly, shoulder-length hair. She is wearing a yellow singlet and a pair of denim shorts. She has stunning facial features, and you find yourself staring at her for a moment before breaking out of your reverie.

"Uh... this must be the wrong room," you stammer, staring at the piece of paper in your hand. "Sorry to bother you."

"No problem!" she smiles warmly. "Although, we are expecting another roommate..." she adds.

You laugh nervously, and hold up the scrap of paper. "I'm supposed to be in dorm 213."

"Then you've come to the right place!" the tall girl giggles. "This is dorm 213."

You furrow your brows. "It's just... I wasn't expecting-"

"You weren't expecting a female roommate? Yeah, administration made some kind of mistake with accommodation." She flicks a strand of pale hair out of her face. "It looks like you'll be staying here until it's sorted out."

Still confused, you enter the dorm. The girl closes the door behind you, and you detect the delicious smell of food.

"My name's Galla, by the way," she says with a warm smile.

"Oh, my name's Matthew," you reply. "Nice to meet you."

Galla turns around and you follow her into a living area with a window overlooking the car-park you just arrived from. "These are my friends," she says, gesturing to a pair of girls chatting to each other on a small sofa. "They're living here with us. Don't worry," she smirks at you. "They're nice girls."

Noticing your blank look, Galla adds, "It's a four person dorm. There's enough room for everyone to stay."
