"Happy Birthday Bro!", my best friend Eduardo says. He hands me a square shaped box and, curiously I open it to see what it is. I open it and I see its a nice watch with leather straps and a metal frame. "Cool, it's old school." I said. "You like it?" he asked. "Heck yeah man!", I replied. After my birthday party at night I sat in my bed before I went to sleep. I was holding the watch in my hand. I noticed it had two knobs on the side rather than one. "Hmm", I thought. "That's pretty weird. I wonder what the second one does." My mom walks in the room and she says, "Honey make sure you do that laundry tomorrow." "Sure" I said. "I'll make sure. Oh and goodnight mom" Right when I said goodnight I pushed the second knob on the watch. I didn't hear my mom reply so I looked up and I just see her mid stride frozen in the hallway with her mouth open. "Woah", I said. "Did I just stop time?" I pressed it again and I see my mom unfreeze and she said, "Goodnight honey, oh and we're going to the amusement park tomorrow to celebrate your birthday" still shocked by the time freeze I say "oh cool mom thanks, see you tomorrow" All night I couldn't sleep cause I was thinking about that watch. I knew I shouldn't tell anyone, they would try to steal it. I didn't even know what I would use it for. It's summer so I couldn't use it in school to not get to class late. Then I finally fell asleep waiting for tomorrow.
