Scrolling endlessly through my Instagram feed, just like I tended to do most days, I stumbled across a strange post. The post was by an account called "famous encounters", had a collage of lots of really hot female celebrities and "GIVEAWAY" written over them.

The caption read:

GIVEAWAY! Win exclusive special encounters with ten celebrities of your choice. The conditions are as follows:

1. Follow this account
2. Comment (in order) your ten favorite celebrities
3. Follow the accounts of the people you select (if they have an Instagram account)

1 person = 1 comment.

The winner will be announced on Sunday. Good luck to everyone!

"What a joke. As if they expect anyone to believe that!" - I thought, chuckling. "Eh, fuck it, I'm bored and I've got nothing to do, I might as well."

I followed the account, went down to the comments and commented: "1) Olivia Rodrigo; 2) Chloë Moretz; 3) Sydney Sweeney; 4) Sadie Sink; 5) Camila Mendes; 6) Jenna Ortega; 7) Dua Lipa; 8) Hailee Steinfeld; 9) Billie Eilish; 10) Zendaya Coleman" I already followed all the women's accounts anyway, so that step was automatically complete. Was there a part of me that actually thought that was real? No, that's ridiculous. Or maybe?...No. But what if?...

I kept scrolling and forgot about the post. That is until Sunday...
