A U-Haul van pulls up outside a beautiful blue house in the suburbs of Setgow. Skylar, just turned 18, steps out of the van and relishes the cool breeze on his face as he stretches' his thin legs after being trapped in the car for the past 4 hours, the wind pushes his neck-length dirty blonde hair past his bright blue eyes which he gently brushes aside back behind his ears. After the death of Skylar's mother, his sister and newly retired step-father decided to start anew in a new town. Skylar's sister, Dakota, eagerly pushes him aside with ease as she rushes into the house, her long red hair trailing behind her as her tall figure begins ascending the stairs to their new house. Followed closely behind is Jason, Skylar's step-father. Jason hasn't quite been the same since the death of his wife, growing increasingly reclusive and distant the longer they stayed in their old house. Jason disregards Skylar as he slumps his way to the house, leaving Skylar alone with the truck to bring in their bags. Slightly salty, Skylar begins hefting the heaving boxes into the house, eager to explore the house and later the town.
