Vampire Empire from London

The arrival of the Brigantine Sacrum Maya VI

It is May 28, 1830, when Edward-Maximilian Williams went to work like every day.

He is 23 years old and was born on December 31st, 1806 in London.

Edward-Maximilian is 1.81 m tall, he has blonde hair, a mustache, gray-green eyes, a muscular body and his angular face usually has a smile on his face. Edward is an only child and his parents are. Skye is 45 years old and Edgar Williams is 55 years old.

Edward's personality was characterized by friendly, humorous, ambitious, the ability to lead a team and an excellent style of clothing. He always had the saying "Clothes make the people". He is very popular with his colleagues.

In addition, he has a weakness for women with red hair, usually he starts to embarrass himself.

Edward-Maximilian Williams works at the docks in London, namely the one in Westminster next to the Tower of London.

He had worked there since he was 9 years old, as his father Edgar Williams was the boss of the dock, everything went according to his rules and Edward has developed into a real leader over the years. The colleagues from the dock always spoke to him.

When there were problems between colleagues or with his father.

The father's trust in his son was great. So big that Edward took all orders and Edgar only intervened when there were problems.

Like not accepting the terms and conditions. Since the ships came from all over the world and others have to pay more like our people.

The tasks were very extensive from repairing brigands, frigates, etc.

The dock team also had to load or unload ships.

Carter Taylor's best friend Edward-Maximilian Williams both had been friends for over 16 years. He was 24 years old, born in Liverpool on 15/06/1805. He has lived in London since he was 4 years old. Carter is 1.75 m tall, an elongated angular head, elongated brow hair, green eyes, the body was slim but more muscular and his style of clothing was more simple than Edward's. He has a second sibling, a younger sister named Liane Water, born Taylor, who lives in Liverpool for 19 years with her husband, and an older brother named Percy Taylor, who is 30 years old and lives in London. The parents of the sibling trio are Samantha-Josephine Taylor 52nd years old and Godric Taylor both have lived in Liverpool for the last 8 years. Carter’s personality is characterized by: loyal, humorous, calm, shy.

Unless it's about cannons on ships, guns and ships in general, he is a real know-it-all of He could talk about these topics for hours or days. He even wrote down books full of all the characteristics of ships and cannons.

But this didn't bother his best friend Edward as he likes to refresh his knowledge.

In addition, this was often very helpful at a dock.

The day was the same every time, Edward got up at 6am in his apartment on Well Street

The sun is shining brightly down on both, it was 23 degrees a good day to work.

Heading to work, the two talked about what might be going on today.

Carter asked Edward, ‘’ How did you get through our pub visit yesterday. With women with red hair you start drooling and embarrassing yourself. I hope that the rejection from the woman didn't hit your mind so badly? ’’

Edward replied, ’No, I'm used to embarrassing me with women who are redheads. Unfortunately, my head always switches to idiot mode.

If only I could turn this off My search for women would have ended. ’’

Carter also agreed and began talking about the properties of cannons.

Edward was curious what new things to tell Carter. The mood was good with both.

You were at the dock a good 35 minutes before work began.

No one of her colleagues was there yet, so they both sit on the banks of the Thames and let the river flow. The Thames was quite flat as the tide was out.

There were only small schooners in the Thames, which according to their flags came from large parts of the United Kingdom.

Mostly English was spoken on the schooners.

Occasionally, other languages were spoken that Edward and Carter did not understand.

Both only knew that ships with non-English flags had to pay higher taxes, on average 35% more expensive. On jobs like repairs and unloading, loading, modernization.

There is also a difference from where you come from.

For example, traders from France, Spain and the Ottoman Empire have to pay the most punitive tariffs on labor and materials.

It costs 75% more for the French, 70% for the Spanish and 80% for the Ottoman Empire.

Edgar Williams and the other colleagues came to the dock and work began.

The first schooners to come to dock were English.

Only minor repairs were necessary so that.

They could continue their journey after only 40 minutes.

Edward carefully wrote down what was made and the money that was taken in the dock's ledger.

At the Thames the tide began slowly, so that larger ships such as Brigantine, Briggs and Frigates sailed down the river and past the dock.

At 10 o'clock, a medium-sized brig called the Sanctae Helenae came to our dock for unloading coffee beans, tobacco and spices, which is for the King of England and Ireland.

The current king is William IV, he is an excellent coffee, tobacco and spice connoisseur.

The brig's captain came to the Edward with all the important documents.

He looked at the documents and noticed that they were all originals.

Which even bore the stamp of the King's House and the personal signature of William IV.

The ship Sanctae Helenae had been traveling the big world for a good 10 months.

According to the documents, they brought the coffee beans from an English colony in Egypt.

The tobacco came from the colonies in Sudan and the spices from our colonies from India.

The captain asked Edward, ’How long will it take you to unload and repair the brig Sanctae Helenae? It was slightly damaged by storms at the sea. ’’

Edward replied: "It will take us about 6 hours to unload the ship. I can't say anything about the damage yet. I have to look at everything first to give a professional answer. On average, we need around 5-9 days for such a large ship. We will unload everything afterwards I will check the ship with my colleagues! ’’

The captain agreed and then asked: ’Can you recommend another good pub to you, my men and I deserve a relaxing break?’

Edward immediately thought of the pub, where you liked to drop in after work for a nice beer. He replied: ’Of course I can recommend him there. The Golden

monkey pub on Cheapside Poult is

excellent. There you have delicious beer and excellent cuisine and excellent honey mead. You can sleep there. In a cozy atmosphere. Do you know how to get there? ’’

The captain replied with: ’Unfortunately we haven't been to London yet?’

Edward replied, "This is not a problem, I'll tell you. You just have to follow the road that will take you to the Thames towards the bridges. Go up the main street a bit until you get to the big intersection. The Cheapside Poult is then seen from you on the left large street and the pub is exactly in the middle in the north of the street.

I hope you have understood everything well? ’

The captain thanked Edward and set off with his men.

Edward spoke to the team: ’Hey team, you’re concerned with the cargo from our King William IV.

I expect that we all handle things as carefully as necessary.

After all, the King is all of us British pride. It is also an honor that our team has been entrusted with this task. So, can we do that? ’’

From the men came a loud proud shrine and a loud: ’’ Yes we can do it. Let's get started! ’

They started unloading when a pinch of wind blowing from the east brushed Edward's cheeks. The work went well as all the men have been parked in front of their pride for England.

One of the colleagues from Dock called him in: ’’ There should be a dinner at the king’s place for us, right? ’’

There was a loud laugh, and Edward replied, ‘’ You know we are never invited to dinner by the King. He pays well for that. If you succumb to something for him. The last time he paid us all 10 times what the cost was.

Besides that, this is not necessarily the case. The class of people that appeals to us. But we are their eyes like a wild horde of pigs. ’’

The team agreed with this statement. Edward said: ’I also have to say that our life is not that bad right now. We don't have to pay attention to every single pound when we go for a drink at our trusted pub after work. Personally, I like my life all too well. ’’

From the colleagues came a loud: ’How about you with a woman for life?’

The whole team suddenly started laughing and Edward couldn't help but laugh.

He knew that the team made fun of the fact that he was still single, but that didn't really matter. He assumes that everyone will find the fit lid.

It became quiet again at the dock and everyone went about their work.

The hours ran by, it was almost noon, which means it will be a big break and the men were looking forward to this break.

Edward went over to the Tower of London to say there that they needed a couple of carriages to transport the animals.

Edward made his way. After only 3 minutes he was already there.

A guard named Charlie, who was standing in front of the tower, asked him:’Well Edward what can I do for you?’ ’

Edward replied: We need a couple of carriages to transport coffee beans, tobacco and spices. This is all for King William IV. ’

Guard Charlie looked at the cargo documents with the original stamps and the signature of the king. He replied: ’We’ve been waiting for it. The king gave us notice three days ago. That he expects such a delivery. I will arrange everything. It all comes to the King after Windsor Castle. He is probably expecting high-ranking visitors at the castle. It's supposed to be like I got with. A great feast will be held.

King William IV wants to offer his guests only the best of the best.

Once everything is done, an armed garrison will bring the wares to Windsor Castle.

In around 20 minutes the first carriage will be with you. ’’

Edward thanked Charlie the guard and went back to the dock.

When we arrived back at the dock, the first carriage said it would be there in about 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes the first carriage was there and the goods began to be dragged into the carriage.

The sundial of the Tower of London indicated it was noon.

The team stayed at the dock today to take their break. There was a campfire in shipyards and tried to catch a juicy trout for lunch, which is then grilled on the fire.

This succeeded even after 30 minutes. So, that everyone could strengthen themselves well during the break.

The atmosphere in the team was excellent, there was a cozy campfire and a warm meal, nothing can spoil the atmosphere.

Carter then suddenly started speaking over the gunnery range of the British warships.

Everyone got ready for an hour-long lecture.

This was quite right for everyone in the team, you were so full of food that you could hardly move, and you first had to digest.

The sundial almost indicated that it was about to be 2 p.m. Carter finished his lecture by then. There was applause from colleagues for the previous day.

Everyone was ready to go to work.

Edward said to the team, ’We’ll start where we left off before the break. Let's get started again! ’

The team continued the tasks of unloading

When the shadow was a little further, the Tower of London sundial was a little further than 3 p.m.

Everything had been unloaded from the ship and loaded onto the carriages.

The shadow of the sundial was exactly in the middle between the 15 and the 16 when the last carriage headed for Zug.

Now Edgar and his son Edward were looking at the damage to the ship.

Then both realized that the necessary materials for repairs were not available.

Edgar wrote everything down so that the repair could start tomorrow.

He finished writing it down and went to the supplier.

So, that tomorrow everything is there for the brig Sanctae Helenae.

The captain of the brig came to the dock to find out about the current status of his ship.

Edward said it. That it can be picked up again for two days.

Because you don't have all the materials to start repairs today. ‘’ You can ask the guards at the Tower of London if you have the King’s seal. Where you can sleep.

Knowing where people who work for the king can sleep. ’’

The captain thanked Edward for the information and walked away again towards the Tower of London. The sun slowly began to set

It is 6 p.m. according to the sundial, and the tide is slowly starting again by the Thames.

Edward saw that a brigantine black, white, and red was coming down the Thames.

The brigantine stopped at the dock. Edward saw the name of the Brigantine Sacrum Maya VI.

He suddenly had such a gut feeling, he's never had anything like it.

There were hardly any people on deck just a sort of navigator and a second butler, that's what it looked like to Edward.

The navigator introduced himself to Edward and the team from the dock.

‘’ Hello, I am Pierre-Oliver, I am the navigator of the Sacrum Maya VI Brigantine.

The captains are the Countess Veronica MacKenna. You and the rest of the crew are below deck.

It has been shown that most of them are seasick.

We come from Ireland and bought her a large plot of land with a villa at 4 Mile End Road in London. We'd have to unload the things that I have on deck for her.

Likewise, we'd pay well for that. The rest of the crew and Countess Veronica MacKenna wouldn't be disturbed for now. They come out in the evening when the seasickness stops. ’’

The navigator jumped off the ship and right next to Edward.

He gave Edward and the others on the dock a whole couple of pounds or twenty pounds.

That was a decent win for the dock crew.

Edward replied, ’Thank you sir. Our team will get to work immediately.

What do you think what are needed in carriages? ’

Pierre-Oliver answered: ‘’ Around the 6th pieces. They'll be back here meanwhile. And please do not go into your cabin where Countess Veronica MacKenna and the other crew are in.

They don't want to be disturbed at first. There are no things there that need to be in the villa. This also applies as a warning for you and your crew. The Countess can get terrible too, and it is not recommended! ‘’

Edward swallowed afterwards and replied, ’All right, sir, we’re not going to enter the cabin of the Countess and the other crew. Hey guys, you heard. Please do not disturb the cabin of the Countess and the other crew and there is nothing in it that interests us for this job. Sir Pierre-Oliver, I think it'll take us around 2.5 hours! ’

Edward didn't care about Pierre-Oliver's words, he thought his part in his head, maybe the Countess was ugly and therefore didn't want to show herself.

As he thought about it, he laughed a lot at the thought.

The team started unloading the ship and Edward forgot the thought of an Ugly Countess. Carter brought sixth carriages to the dock, so the first three carriages quickly made their way to Mile End Road 4. You shouldn't need 20 minutes for this route.

Since there were probably people from the Countess in the area, the carriages were unloaded again.

As the ship was being unloaded, Edward noticed that there were strange things on all the boxes.

The word Reginae loculo was on one oblong box and the word Positumque loculum was on 7 other oblong boxes. There were also other large boxes with words like Vespertilio locus Atticae on them and the word Humani sanguinis on two others.

Edward couldn't do anything with it, he assumed that the people from Ireland simply describe boxes differently, like him and every other Englishman.

It was shortly before the end of the day when he and his colleagues were distributing the last things on the last carriages.

One painting was left on the Sacrum Maya VI brigantine.

The painting was covered a bite with a linen cloth.

Edward could still see everything that was on it. There is a pretty woman watching it. If he meant pretty, then he meant it too. He could see that she was red-haired, had a very young and marrowless face and had a very nice slight line of freckles. She had the most beautiful brown eyes he could ever see in a being. It was tattooed, they were pretty tattoos with color.

This showed Edward that the woman in the paintings was wealthy. Color is a luxury good.

In the painting she wore a royal dress in black, white and red, almost like the Brigantine Sacrum Maya VI. Edward determined that it should be the countess. Because it had her name on it. It was shown. That he had heard himself the countess wasn't ugly, but she was the most beautiful being on earth. If he was a painter, he would have painted it.

Shortly before Edward brought the painting in the last carriage, he noticed that it was written on 04/17/1650 Ireland. He assumed that the painter might have made a mistake

Nobody is over 100 years. This is not possible.

The last carriage made its way to the villa.

The team, and he could finally call it a day with the sunset behind us.

Carter and Edward still go to their trusted pub.

He found that he could not follow any of Carter's sermons about the cannons on British warships. Only one thought came to mind, and that was Countess Veronica MacKenna.

He really wanted to see it, or much more it was a destiny for him.

When they arrive at the pub, they both order a cold lager. They both talked about the working day today and both discovered that the Sacrum Maya VI brigantine and its crew were something strange. Carter said, ‘’ Hey Edward, what do you mean. Why did most of the crew get locked in by them? I think the Countess is ugly as the night! ’

Edward first considered talking about the picture of the beautiful woman, but let the thought rub off and replied: ’We don’t know what it’s like to live on a ship for months or years. I think it's not a pretty sight to throw up on a ship.

I just think they were just being polite there. For the countess and the rest of her crew. ’’

Carter agreed: "You're going to be right, Edward, let's toast a successful day at work and the king's feast." Then Carter and Edward started laughing.

Both stayed there for the next 2 hours and went home from there.

Edward brought Carter home and said goodbye to him.

"See you tomorrow in old freshness Carter!" Said Edward

Carter replied, "We'll be my friend until tomorrow."

Edward said goodbye and went home. After only 3 meters, the painting of Countess Veronica MacKenna came into his head again.

Carter called after something, but he hadn't understood a word of it.

Only one thought came to mind. The countess's face with her red hair.

At home, he finally went to bed, where he fell asleep after a good two hours.
