About 15% of the population in this world has superpowers. Most of them either got their powers from accident or they were born with it, but some people intentionally gave themselves superpowers whether it's from experiment or simply because they're rich enough to afford some crazy powerful gadgets.

Unfortunately, not every single superhuman has their moral compass in the right direction. Usually, the people who're not interested in superhero work just kept their power in secret, but some of the other abused their powers and used it for criminal acts. This condition has forced the government to work with and recognize superheroes as part of the law enforcement.

In this wondrous world of superpowers, you're playing as Jake, a 21 years old college dropout who lives alone in a tiny apartment and works in a dead-end 9 to 5 job at a local restaurant. Your parents kicked you out of their house when you decided to drop out of college after only 1 year attending it. You swear to them that one day you'll be a successful man without needing to graduate college, and well.... you're definitely still far away from achieving that goal.

As you walk home after finishing your job, you saw a superhero flew across the sky with a criminal on his hand. "Oh my god! that's Wind Gale, he is so cool." You looked behind you and saw a group of school students freaking out and taking pictures.

"Cool? Naaahh...... those people are just lucky." You thought to yourself, "Yeah they're not better than me, if i had superpower i would be in the same position as them. Admired and respected by the public, or maybe i'll become a supervillain, who cares." You were not born with superpower and you don't have any resources or money to give you one, you can only hope someday an accident will happen and gave you power, or maybe you'll die instead, who knows.

As you enter your apartment room you immediately lay on your bed and ponder your miserable life. "Go to sleep, wake up, do my job, go home, and repeat. Man, this sucks..... something will happen and change my life someday, surely." As you dozed off on your bed, a sudden bright green light flash through the sky. The light was so bright it wakes you up from your sleep. "What the hell happened!?" You felt something weird, it's like electricity flowing through your body.
