In the land of Eddonia the various tribes all worship the mother Jiah, goddess of the land. They pray to her and her children, sacred guardians who watch over the forests, rivers, and such and see to the health and prosperity of nature and the people. In order to appease these guardians, an offering is made of a member of the tribe to serve as a caretaker of sorts to the guardian. He/she (mostly she) is bound by magic in a ritual to the guardian to serve his/her life out to ensure the prosperity of the tribe and nature itself.

Yssliane, a young woman from one of the villages, wakes up stark (some jewelry and wristbands and the like) naked covered in tattoos and lying in a grove. Her tribe drugged her and forced her into the ritual, as per their tradition, and now she has to learn the hard way what life is like as a servant to a guardian. Only there is trouble in the land of Eddonia as some places wither or grow wild and some guardians have no caretaker at all. Even more troublesome is the encroaching Imalti Empire who seek to "tame" the land and enslave it's people. It is up to Ysslaine and her guardian to solve these problems and fix her homeland, but not without the aid of friends she makes along the way.

This story is just a game idea I came up with that has a clear inspiration that I will do my best not to step on the toes of by further expanding the world to a make this my own sperate idea. I don't know yet if I'd like this to be a RPG or a Renpy "fetch quest" type game. Obviously I don't know how to program which is why I type this ideas like this here to mark it down, maybe gather opinions and ideas. So don't look at me to make this thing anytime soon or even ever (maybe of I can get a look at RPG maker but still). I just had the idea and wanted hash it out real quick, maybe get my creative juices flowing for other projects and stories.
