Just so you guys know, I got the idea of this story from Fallout 4 so if you're getting a sense of dejavu at points, that's why.

"Come on. I want a turn!" Groans your friend who is talking about the toy car in between your small hands.

"No. It's still my turn." You groan back and carry on playing with the car. You then however look up and see her face which is covered in sadness.

"I'm done now..." you say unwantingly whilst handing her the car without making eye contact.

"We have to go. Now!" Shouts her father, cutting off his daughter as she opens her mouth to say thanks. He then runs up and picks up his daughter.

"Wait! I want John to come too!" Shouts Sara causing her dad to stop right before he opens the door.

"Fine. Come with us. I'll call your parents on the way" says her dad in impatience. You then stand and follow her dad which is walking at a steady pace but turns it into a brisk jog.

After about 5 minutes of this, you hear this ear piercing noise that carries on repeating itself. You remember the sound vaguely from when it was on the news.

"Oh god!" Shouts a random man as he begins charging. He runs so quickly that he didn't care for anyone in his way. Just as you three were about to enter the base, the man crashes into Sara's father knocking him off of his feet.

You and Sara land on the inside of the gate but her father doesn't. Before you know it, around 5 men ran to the gate and aimed their large weapons at the crowd infront of them.

"Come with me" says a man in a uniform as he picks you and Sara up. As he runs to the entrance of the bunker, you watch as the other guards wouldn't let her father pass.

Once on the entrance, you feel the ground slowly move down. Moments later though, you hear a loud booming noise and see a mushroom cloud appear in the distance. You only watch it briefly though before the ground closes above you and you slowly sink into the bottom of the bunker.
