Witches Brew

"I can't believe it," Emma Edwards said to herself as she sat on the couch in the Alpha Omega Phi House. Emma was an energetic and plucky girl who had just started her freshman year of college at Magnus University, only to have her mother tell her that she comes from a long line of Witches!

"You better believe it!" Mia Coleman, a sophomore at the school specializing her powers in transmutation, responded to her. Mia being an eccentric type, despite being the smallest of the group at only five foot one she was easily the loudest. "We witches are a proud bunch! And you're only going to get stronger the more you hang out with us!"

"But I don't know the first thing about magic!" Emma responded back, still shocked at the recent events in her life.

"Don't worry. Everyone is awful at it at first." Assured Olivia Black, a college junior specializing her powers in enchantment. Olivia's bold eyeliner and dark aura only made Emma more worried.

"You could argue that a lot of us are still bad at this now." Ashley Robinson, a college senior specializing her powers in divination, told Emma attempting to get the poor girl to look at the positive side. "But if you allow us to help you, you might find yourself really enjoying these newfound powers!"

Emma didn't know what to say, but she felt like the girls in front of her might be able to help her sort out these powers.

"Okay," Emma said. "As long as you guys are here to help me out."

"That's the spirit," Sorority President Charlotte Patterson encouraged. Charlotte was easily the most noticeable in the room. It was almost as if she was glowing. Charlotte specialized her powers in conjuration spells. "Now why don't you go unpack your stuff in your room. You're on the third floor, fourth door to the right."

Update 7/15/20

I realized that I missed the one year anniversary of starting this story (7/13). Thought I might do something with that but I guess not. The story is still up and getting chapters added consistently.

Chapters are also open in moderation for adding to the story. It's in moderation but I have not yet found any chapters that I've said no to. So don't feel shy, feel free to add a chapter. I want this story to be a positive workspace.

Thanks to everyone who has supported the story for the first year!
