Now that Queen Moon lost all her spells and magic, her life seems pointless to her. In an effort to "fix her mood" she asks her ten-times grand-mother Queen Eclipsa for help. From her Moon receives a small, purple silk bag filled with "Xatsey" powder, a magical substance from the northern woods of Mewni. The promised mood-lifting ability of the powder does come with its own set of "side-effects".
